On Summer Wedding

Makeup Tips

On your special day, the last thing you need to worry about is your makeup melting down your face! It may be okay for the icing on your cake (or not!) but there is really no need for it to happen on your face. Try these helpful tips to keep you looking flawless all day.
Skincare - I never advise wearing lots of makeup during the Summer and a Wedding is really no exception. I can never stress enough the importance of taking care of your skin. Having a facial every month for 3 months before your wedding can make a difference.

Eyes - Long wear cream shadow, or eyeshadow base/primer is a lot better than using foundation or concealer on the eyes, which tend to crease. (Those products have oil in them, and are not designed for the eyelid.) What is great about long wear cream shadow, or eyeshadow base/primer is that you can layer ANY shadow over the top, and you have an eye that will last as long as you do. Pair those with longwear liner and waterproof mascara, and you have eyes that will look amazing in EVERY picture!

The Color

Since we're officially in the midst of Spring and fast approaching the start of Summer, I thought I'd put together a palette full of happy hues. Yellow and green were just made to go hand in hand! Throw in some lovely neutrals like a touch of khaki and you'll have a color palette that's just perfect for your upcoming Spring or Summer wedding!
I think what makes this palette pop are all of the lovely flowers. First, there's no denying that this bridal bouquet is seriously swoon worthy. Oh, and just take a look at these beautiful boutineers. I like this palette because it just goes to show that all it takes is a little pop of color. I love so much about this palette. But I'm especially loving that place setting! Yellow dishes with a perfectly placed menu and a little sprig of greenery? Such a great way to carry the color palette throughout the day's events! Plus I don't know about you, but I'm a huge fan of overly sweet photos of couple's who are clearly in love. And this one is no exception.

Wedding Dresses

If you're thinking about having a destination wedding on a beautiful beach, a lovely European location or an intimate Miami Yacht Wedding, you may be looking for a destination wedding dress. I came across the beautiful dresses in the Cymbeline Bridal 2014 Collection and many are great for a destination wedding. The dresses are made of fine silk and a variety of Alençon, Chantilly, and vintage style guipure lace. This week, I didn't select one dress as the pick of the week. I'll let you decide which one you like best, but all are appropriate for a destination wedding. Here are the lovely dresses I've selected from the new collection. PSWeddingDresses has unique dresses that you'll love!
